#punctuation
is important. I just see I could have written "Good morning! Fine people!" I guess some bureaucrats et al punctuate their thoughts and/or their speech like that π

"Interjections show emotion or excitement. They're generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point, or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong." -- Schoolhouse Rock, Interjections (1970s educational programming on US TV network ABC).

Hey! Long time no see. Also, English have many words that are both verb and noun (and/or adjective), which makes for rich opportunities for double meanings, e.g. puns π

Are you on a gnusocial server? Or is it just the name. Looks like the old fediverse π

Yes, this is a GS server. Now that I'm not hosting my own, I need to figure out how to send the admin a little funding to help with the costs of operating.the server.

I think it is the only remaining GS server meanwhile. Nostalgia!
Sadly it seems not to federate so well. I get zero context, just your posts seperated on their own and also the media is usually missing. Hubzilla's ActivityPub implementation does fetch your feed better than my Mastodon. Probably it'll help to set gnusocial.jp as relay server.

It's kinda cool there are still gnusocial instances. π They use some bridge to activity-pub?

Modern GS speaks both OStatus and ActivityPub.
