The Notes app does not seem to be working at the moment

Is this known?

After opening the Notes app, a completely empty content area is displayed. There is no option to create, edit or display notes. No list of notes is displayed.

takes a little trying-out: to switch from read- to edit-mode i have to double-click the note text (even if it's empty). to save the note and go back to read-mode click the button that says edit mode now.

also, while i have markup enabled for the post editor, the note editor accepts only bbcode. this is not a "feature request," i'm happy with the note editor as it is, don't need more formatting options; just wanted to mention it.

@phani00 (hubzilla) Markdown support would be quite useful as actually notes are widely stored as .md files.

Comes to my mind there is a handle to activiate Markdown for posts. This might affect the notepad editor as well.
